Social Role Valorisation or SRV is a theory developed by Professor Wolf Wolfensberger of the USA to provide an explanation and response to the social devaluation and exclusion of people in all societies.  The theory has had a profound impact on human services worldwide, and much of the legislation in human services has its roots in this theory.  Much useful understanding and insight into devaluation can be gained from reading and attending workshops on this theory.

Review Report around the inclusion of children with labels in WA Schools. Some groundbreaking ideas. A very farsighted document that will have profound effects if implemented well. Is being backed by resources for implementation as well. With Tasmania, now leading the other states.
